Patients are given pulse medications such as methylprednisolone and cyclophosphamide where indicated. Biological therapies such as Infliximab, Etanercept, abatacept, tociluzimab have been added to the treatment site for early and resistant treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and seronegative spondyloarthropathies. The Anti CD-20 molecule rituximab is also used in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, SLE and ITP. Various care is provided to all patients. They are taught exercise by an effective physiotherapy department, joint protection and joint guidance by a trained therapist. An orthopedic surgeon works closely with the department to correct a defect and replace limbs. Recently there have been two dedicated child care beds in the department where patients are admitted for drug and childcare procedures.
